The purpose of a legitimate religious organization is to assist its
petitioners to a better life as taught by that religion. There ARE,
however, some pretty reliable and agreed upon things that constitute
a better life. If the person in question is healthier, happier, and
more prosperous than (s)he started out, then the religion and religious
organization is a legitimate one. Keep in mind that this is NOT the same
end as to increase the power and money held by the religion, its
organization, or its founders/bosses. The proper term for THESE
organizations -- those created to fill the pockets of their
bosses -- is BUSINESSES. That's right, these should by rights be
PROFIT organizations and openly and blatantly labelled so.
