Well...some good news...this morning's New York Times reports that Steven
Higgins, Director of the BATF will be asked to resign due to his handling of
the Waco incident and conflicting reports issued by his office. I still am
calling for him and others to voluntarily turn themselves in to stand charges
of first degree murder, however. Many lives were lost by his inappropriate
actions in Waco. By asking for his resignation, the government is admitting
his actions were ill-advised. Everyone is aware that lives were lost. Murder
charges should be filed just as they would be if anyone else made a poor
judgement and lives were lost as a result. Since this one was planned in
advance, it becomes first degree (pre-meditated) murder carried out over a
period of 51 days. He is a serial murderer and should stand trial for it.
