                     All-Music Guide Biography

Canadian artist Bryan Adams is one of mainstream rock's biggest
hitmakers with his style of Heartland rock -- a rhythm-guitar-heavy
sound that implies roots in the Byrds and the Stones. With his raspy
lower tenor, he has a classic rock & roll voice. His grasp of
creating memorable melodic and simple lyrical hooks has earned him an
enormous string of hits including "Cuts Like a Knife" (#15), "Run to
You" (#6), "Summer of 69" (#5), "Heat of the Night" (#6), "Heaven"
(#1), and "(Everything I Do) I Do it for You," the #1 hit from the
movie ROBIN HOOD. ~ Rick Clark
