    Ok. I agree Creationism has a neat explanation. Albeit completely
    unwarranted by observation and conjured up by Abraham and his
    followers. I propose my own story. Perhaps in 2000 years someone
    will dig-up this e-mail and start his/her own cult:



               THE THEORY OF PHANTASMAGORIALISTICATIONISM:

      GENESIS ALPHA-ALPHA:

         In the beginning, there was a 0-dimensional void. And the void
         oscillated through its ceaseless permutations until the 1st-dimension
         arose. And the void saw the 1st-dimension, and it was good.

         Upon the 1st-dimension formed a barrier. This barrier dissected the
         1st-dimension, leaving separated halves in which energy could
         not cross from one to the other. And the void saw this and it was
         bad. Unevenness was NOT GOOD. And so permutations intensified, and
         upon the 3rd permutation, the 2nd-dimensional arose.

         Now, with the 2nd-dimension, the concept of "AROUNDness" came into
         existance. Energy could now flow AROUND the barrier, by using the
         2nd-dimension. But the barrier felt the new freedom in spacial
         existance and followed by spreading into 2-dimensions as well. And
         all was NOT GOOD again, for energy could not flow, and the void was
         UNEVEN.

         Upon the 4th and 5th permutations, the 3rd and final spacial
         dimension arose, as well as the temporal dimension and infinite
         number of interactivity dimensions. The barrier, now with freedom
         to move along an endless number of vectors, diffused, forming a
         precipitate in the void, and it was matter.

         The matter began to conglomerate into larger bodies, in the attempt
         to rejoin itself. Upon the face of the globe, the interface
         between void and matter yielded distortion and chaos. From this
         chaos arose energy which tunnelled through to the interactivity
         dimensions. And this energy, focused and channeled, spew forth
         onto the face of the globe, giving life. And life was GOOD.
