Why Creationists deserve derision on talk.origins:

   (I) They espouse a theory that is clearly false in it's particulars,

   (II) which is never stated in a complete form.

   (III) They cannot tell that abusing other theories does not 
         support their theory.

   (IV) They frequently lie in their teeth while maintaining a level
        of mental incompetence that makes them unaware they are lying.
        (e.g. "This isn't a religious theory.")

   (V) They will not even attempt to understand arguments against them.
       (Occasional exceptions, Cote agree's he isn't going to turn into
        a lump of bacteria, oh well.)

   (VI) They cling to their sources/interpretations like children to a 
        favorite toy even when obvious demonstrations are made that their 
        sources are axe-grinding liars (e.g. the ICR) or that they are 
        using the sources inappropriatly (e.g. the Bible as demonstrated 
        by those sharing their faith).  Remember the four legged grass-
        hoppers?

   (VII) They demand respect instead of earning it.

   (VIII) Whatever the shit you call what Kalki did when he made the 
          top ten Usenet poster list for several weeks.
