As for evidence against the creation myth, just look around.
  fossils
  sedimentary rock formations
  human body ( tonsils, flat feet, appendix, etc. )

It is quite evident that the human race was not created out of dust and
a little god spit.  We evolved.  Anyone can see that, if they are not
blinded by faith.  My point is that all ( generalization ) fundamentalists
are blind to the truth.  I have heard some outrageous claims made by
fundamentalists when confronted with these facts.  Here is a small sample
from an actual conversation:

ME:    The existence of fossils points out that the earth is much older
       than 6000 years.
fundy: All fossils are planted by evilutionist scientists who are in
       league with the devil.
ME:    Sedimentary rock formations are proof that the earth is much older
       than 6000 years.
fundy: Sedimentary rock formations were planted by old-earth geologists
       who are in league with the devil.
ME:    Fossil records indicate that there have been many species on this
       planet and man is only one of the latest.
fundy: I told you earlier that fossils are planted by scientists.
ME:    Do you have any evidence that this is true?
fundy: Well, there was this one guy who was caught back in 1920.
ME:    You mean the giant hoax?
fundy: Yeah, that's the one.  That proves it.
ME:    That man was no scientist, and reputable scientists did expose
       the hoax.
fundy: Yeah, because they did not want him invading their turf.
ME:    We are in the middle of the Permian Basin.  Would you like to
       go out and find a fossil?  They are all around here.  That should
       prove that they are a part of nature.
fundy: The scientists drop them from airplanes.
