The notoriously bizarre Institute for Creation Research (sic) cult
routinely publishes equally bizarre religious notions which they wish to
pretend are some how scientific. This text file takes some of the cult's
own bizarre publications and takes a look at them in extract to show just
how nutty (verging on the insane) these "Modern Day Flat Earth
Society" nuts actually are.

The ICR cult attempts to try to pretend that the fact of evolution some
how constitutes a religion. Presumably anyone who accepts scientific
facts which contradicts the cult's bizarre beliefs can acquire tax
exemption status. <smile>
Let's take a look at this propaganda piece and see exactly how the ICR
cult manages to come up with such a stupid notion, shall we? Amusingly
this piece is titled, "Evolution is religions, not science."

The ICR cult has not a clue as to what evolution is and what it is not.
It comes as no surprise that the cult makes this bizarre statement. In
actual fact evolution is a directly observed phenomena not subject to
either belief or disbelief and more than gravitation is subject to belief
or disbelief. Certainly both evolution and gravitation are subject to
acceptance or denial. And equally ceryainly creationist cults deny the
directly observed fact of evolution because they mistakenly believe that
it some how damages their gods.

My irony meter has long since been burned out by previous ironic claims
I've read penned by this cult.

What a bizarre claim. Evolution is a directly observed phenomena and the
theories which gave been created to attempt to explain what's observed
make a number of predictions, all of which are not only testable but most
of which have been confirmed.
Let's see if we can find out what the ICR cult's misconceptions are so
that we can see why they're such dunderheads. The author searches for
and finds comments by scientists who mistakenly suggest that evolution
some how has religious attributes. That'll make evolution disappear,
by Jesus!
Hang on while I scan this propaganda piece for anything new. We see
the same old idiot notions that the fact of evolution some how supports
comunism, fascism, et al. We get treated to "more of the same"
and we find that the nutters still have no idea what evolution is and
what it is not. We find:

is believed to have something to do with speciation. It doesn't. After
a lengthy series of bizarre creationist crap we finally get to the end
wherein its boldly asserted:

My guess is that the ICR cult doesn't allow its followers to eat
genetically tailord foods, wear genetically tailored natual fibers,
use genetically manipulated medicines and such scientific progress
technologies which are all predicated in the firm understanding of
evolution. Since the cult wants to pretend biological sciences has
made no "significant accomplishments," I presume the cult also does
not allow its followers to use contemporary antibiotics.

Presumably since the public schools were incapable of teaching this guy
anything they shouldn't be allowed to teac anybody anything.

"Thank you for your permission however there's never any need
to.
Evolutionists often insist that evolution is a proved
fact of science, providing the very framework of scientific
interpretation, especially in the biological sciences.
This, of course, is nothing but wishful thinking.
Evolution is not even a scientific hypothesis, since
there is no conceivable way in which it can be tested.
Enunciation of the "big bang" cosmology.
Consequently, it is fair to conclude that no truly
significant accomplishment of modern science either
depends on evolution or supports evolution!
There would certainly be no detriment to real scientific
learning if creation were incorporated as an alternative
to evolution in school curricula.
It would on the other hand, prove a detriment to the pervasive
religion of atheistic humanism which now controls our schools.
Creationist propaganda is already self-debunking." --
