   MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. (UPI) _ An alleged Hare Krishna tourism chief
was arrested for possession of marijuana and carrying a loaded handgun,
after Moundsville state police spotted three marijuana plants in the
back of the man's car.
   George Myers, 38, of Moundsville was stopped Saturday around 9 a.m.
on U.S. 250 when state police spotted marijuana plants 3-4 feet high in
his car, said Sgt. C.W. Bramble.
   Police charged Myers with possession with intent to deliver a
controlled substance and possession of a dangerous and deadly weapon,
Bramble said.
   Myers was released later that day on $5,500 bond, Bramble said.
   Bramble said police found a loaded .44 police special in Myers' car
after they arrested him on the marijuana charges.
   Police also found a business card, listing Myers as the director of
tourism of the Hare Krishna office in New Vrindaban, Bramble said.
   Myers told police he had worked with the Hare Krishnas for 15
years, Bramble said.
   But the Hare Krishnas have denied Myers works as their tourism
chief, Bramble said.
   "They just said that (Myers) booked a few tour buses in and out.
But as far as being their director of tourism, they're not admitting
that," Bramble said.
   No hearing date has been set for Myers' two charges, Bramble said.
