Seven Promises of Promise Keepers
Promise Keepers believe that Christian growth begins
by making some promises -- promises we intend to keep.
That is why we have identified the seven promises.
___--------------------------------------------------------
1. A Promise Keeper is committed to honoring Jesus Christ
through worship, prayer, and obedience to His[sic] Word[sic],
through the power of the Holy[sic] Spirit[sic].
His primary devotion in life is to honor Jesus Christ, and he
willingly surrenders himself to Jesus daily. Consequently,
God is in the process of changing this man's heart and
transforming his mind through the disciplines of worship,
prayer, and obedience to His[sic] Word[sic].
2. A Promise Keeper is committed to pursuing vital
relationships with a few other men, understanding that he
needs brothers to help him keep his promises.
He agrees to meet with a small group of men 2-4 times each
month. Each man willingly grants the others the right to
inquire about his relationship to God[sic], his commitment to
his family, his sexuality, and his financial dealings. They
commit to pray with and for one another and to help one
another apply God[sic]'s Word[sic] to their lives.
3. A Promise Keeper is committed to practicing spiritual,
moral, ethical, and sexual purity.
He admits his failures and acknowledges his weaknesses,
resulting in a genuine experience of God[sic]'s grace and
strength. Totally dependent on the Spirit[sic] of God[sic] in
him, he recognizes his own responsibility in this process
(Hebrews 12:14; 1 Timothy 4:7). He is determined to distance
himself from anything that would pull him down and confronts
temptation with God[sic]'s Word[sic].
4. A Promise Keeper is committed to building strong marriages
and families through love, protection and biblical values.
All men, whether married or not, can further the work of
God[sic] by honoring women and supporting families. If
married, a Promise Keeper intends to convince his wife that
she is the most important person in his life (apart from
Jesus Christ). He is learning to honor her by listening and
by regularly praying with and for her. In the same way he is
committed to honor his children, setting an example for them
of what a godly man should be.
5. A Promise Keeper is committed to supporting the mission of
the church by honoring and praying for his pastor and by
actively giving his time and resources. [Note: "tithing"]
Understanding that a shocking number of our pastors find
themselves weary, wounded, discouraged and struggling with
feelings of inadequacy and hopelessness, a Promise Keeper is
committed to pray for the leaders of God[sic]'s flock.
Additionally, he is dedicated to encourage and support the
mission of his church by actively participating and by
consistently tithing.
6. A Promise Keeper is committed to reaching beyond any
racial and denominational barriers to demonstrate the power
of biblical unity.
He acknowledges the current division in the church and is
discovering that God[sic] wants Christian men of all ethnic
and denominational heritages, rich and poor, educated and
uneducated, to stand together in honor of Jesus Christ. He is
willing to cultivate relationships with his brothers in
Christ in order to understand their pain. A Promise Keeper is
willing to cross over the lines that have divided the church
and meet with at least one man of a different race or
denomination at least once a month.
7. A Promise Keeper is committed to influencing his world,
being obedient to the Great[sic] Commandment[sic] (Mark
12:30-31) and the Great[sic] Commission[sic] (Matthew
28:19-20).
His desire is to contend for the truth of Jesus Christ
without shame for the Gospel. Willing to allow his walk with
the Lord[sic] to demonstrate itself daily, he reaches out to
the needy with compassion and love.

What the hell are you doing out of my twit filter, twit?

>DR> disgusting, all the more so because the cult considers
>DR> it a virtue. Maybe I'll post it here.
MH> Please do. And if you post it honestly, the rest of us
MH> will have a good laugh over the fact that you and your
MH> demented brother Fred find something so honorable and
MH> innocuous to be "evil."
#0) I have already posted the evil mandate twice.
#1) I speak for myself, not Fredric. But then, you wouldn't
know about speaking for yourself, would you? You speak from
pre-authorized opinions that you are ordered to accept, so
the concept of each person having their own opinions is
alien to you.
#2) I find -NO- honor in mandating tithing to a cult, and
even less honor in accepting that mandate, let alone going so
far as to pledge it via vow. =THAT= is evil. [5]
#3) I find -NO- honor in placing your imaginary plaything,
"Jesus Christ," before ones' spouse. =THAT= is evil in the
extreme. [1, 4]
#4) Pledging obediance to a book of fables written by long-
dead, mostly ignorant Hebrews, Babylonians, Sumerians, and
Greeks is not in any way "honerable." [1, 4, 7]
#5) I find -NO- honor in the belief that one cannot keep ones'
promisses without coercion from "a few other men." I keep my
promisses without such coercion: why do these Christian men
feel they require such a mandate? [2]
#6) I find -NO- honor is repressing, suppressing, and
sublimating ones' sexuality by foisting it off to the gods.
The greatest evil inflicted upon humanity has been caused
by neo-celibate Christian men. [3]
#7) There is -NO- honor in inflicting "biblical values" upon
a woman, using the excuse that she is ones' spouse. Women and
girls have suffered unimaginable horror because of such
"values" Christians claim are in the Bible. [4]
#8) There is -NO- honor in MANDATING communication between
"racial barriers." That is as evil as mandating the
non-communication between "racial barriers." What kind of
sick, demonic human being REQUIRES a vow before treating
other human beings fairly?!?!? I've never required such a
vow: why do these Christian men feel they require such a vow?
How is it they must make a VOW to face the dreaded "man from
a different race" once a month? Do they really believe they
have to coerce themselves to do so? [6]
#9) There is -NO- honor in inflicting the rest of the planet
with evil, occult dogma. [7]
The Promise Keepers maifesto is evil in carnate. It is at its
very core sick, corrupt, and demonic. Some of their mandates
are out-right evil (placing imaginary friends before ones'
spouse and children). The rest of the mandates are pathetic
in that the behavior they wish to mandate SHOULD ALREADY HAVE
BEEN SOCALIZED-INTEGRATED WITHING EACH PERSON by the age of
twenty or twenty-five---- that they feel the need to take a
vow to behave like decient, considerate citizens SHOULD TELL
YOU SOMETHING!!!!
