Burdick is a creationist loon. If you want to read about this print aka the
Meister Footprint, the Trilobite man or the Cambrian man, see "Alleged
Human Footprint from Middle Cambrian Strata, Millard County, Utah" by Wm.
Lee Stokes starting on page 187 of _Journal of Geological Education_, 1986,
vol 34. It includes pictures and at the best might be described as the
outline of a sandal, ie no toes visable. It comes from an area where lots
of similar "prints" are formed by the way the rocks split open. It is most
likely NOT a print in the sense of being pressed into soft material as
there is no evidence of any material being squished out around the edges.
The article explains it all. Burdick is debunked!
BTW, if you go look up the article, look through the other back issues of
the journal. Almost every one has an article or two trashing creationism.
