BUDDHIST RESOURCES -- BBS DIRECTORY
=============================================================================
This file is an international directory of BBSs, operated as Buddhist BBSs or
offering some Buddhist resources. This is an initial draft and is far from
complete. Many DharmaNet BBSs have not yet responded to the query for info
and will be added here as the data is made available. Likewise, other
BodhiNet BBSs will be added in future compilations.
Corrections and submissions can be directed to Barry Kapke, P.O. Box 4951,
Berkeley CA 94704 USA, or e-mailed to dharma@netcom.com, or netmailed to
Barry Kapke at Fidonet address 1:125/33.
This resource is compiled and updated as a public service of DharmaNet
International. If this information is used in other publications, please
give credit to DharmaNet International as the source. Please do not alter
this file, but instead send corrections so that everyone will have complete
and up-to-date information. With these exceptions, there is no limitation to
use. Please distribute freely.

Comments: Disability, Buddhism, OS/2, Maximus BBS support. The board is
extremely eclectic, with over 700 conferences. Perhaps a bit
of explanation about the 'subscriber' bit is in order. In
order to try to meet expenses, the use of most of the file
areas has been restricted to subscribers. There's never a
charge for disability information or Dharmanet files, however.
The annual subscription rate is $30. Users sending proof of
being on a fixed income such as SSI, SSDI, Public Aid,
Unemployment, etc, are given full contributor access. Users
active in the message areas who become an asset to the board
often find their access raised out of the blue. :-) What can
I say...capitalism never really was my forte'.

focusing exclusively on fringe science, alternative religions

free, but UL/DL ratios determine daily online time. I'm about
to implement an optional subscriber level, where people who
choose to contribute to the BBS will have no ratios, and also
get access to the Usenet metaphysical echoes...the only ones
which I have to pay extra to receive.]
