Since some of the materials which describe the $cientology cult could be considered to be copywritten materials, I have censored myself and The Skeptic Tank by deleting any and all possible text files which describes the cult's hidden mythologies. I have elected to quote just a bit of the questionable text according to the "Fair Use" legal findings afforded to those who report. - Fredric L. Rice, The Skeptic Tank, 09/Sep/95 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- I went and demonstrated outside a Scieno org yesterday. What I saw only confirmed my views as derived from a.r.s. I met the OSA PR head, Margaret Reese: all she was interested in was intimidating critics - her behaviour was distinctly unpleasant. When I "intimidated" her by daring to suggest that the leaflets she was distributing were not telling the whole truth, she walked away. When I rejoined her, she walked away again. A definite case of non-confront, just like we see here on a.r.s. - FROM THE HEAD OF SCIENTOLOGY'S OSA PR!?!?!?! - later on, by simply (and inadvertently) attempting to hand out a critical leaflet to a clam, I managed to reduce her to a hysterical rage. Is this what Scientology does to normal human beings? On the basis of my experiences, the impression given of and by Scientologists here on a.r.s. is very close to the impression given by the actual bodies on the street. Not terribly impressive.
