Since some of the materials which describe the $cientology cult could be
considered to be copywritten materials, I have censored myself and The
Skeptic Tank by deleting any and all possible text files which describes
the cult's hidden mythologies. I have elected to quote just a bit of the
questionable text according to the "Fair Use" legal findings afforded to
those who report. - Fredric L. Rice, The Skeptic Tank, 09/Sep/95

so far, i've trusted to the fact that i spout obscenity continually
to 'discredit' me as an 'effective' critic, and so far it's worked.
they don't understand that nobody on the net gives a shit about
the spare fuck or two.
frankly, i intend to perform the same function here to the clams
as the clam-lawyer earle cooley, to make a lot of noise and attract
attention to alt.religion.scientology. this explains my sometimes
excessive and ridiculous crossposts.
i trust that net people behave as i do, or at least the net people i
intend to attract. when i see a massively crossposted threat that
seems incredibly wacky and bizarre and unbelievable, i follow it around
through the newsgroups and try to get to the bottom of it.
i was a fan of robert mcelwaine, and i _adore_ joan brewer, and
doctress neutopia, ah, i blow a kiss to her. i found this group
on alt.current-events.net-abuse when that was the net-abuse group,
and chased it down here.
frankly, the accusations against the church of scientology
seemed really paranoid and bizarre, the ravings of kooks, but generally
impassioned and sincere, so i wanted to find out why. regardless of
how kooky the whole thing seemed, the cancel messages and rmgroup
message utterly infuriated me, and so i sent out a few nasty obscenities
and more-or-less off-handed contempt, never intending to have anything
to do with the situation again.
what happens?
some dick named 'thesaint' replaces 'scientologist' with 'jew' in every
occurrence, posts the whole mess to soc.culture.jewish, and expects people
to buy this shit, a blatant forgery.
a threat to sue me from the lying ho' of babble-on, helena kobrin,
some loon i've never heard of, i'm bombarded with _weird-ass_ email
from robert marcus (yeah, the death-threat guy), 'bomb-threats' are
pinned on me, and at this point i get pissed. FUCK THESE PEOPLE!
i think. i realize that finally i'm seeing the determined attack on the net
i've been waiting for since i joined the cypherpunks list a couple years
ago and caught on to the fact that there are going to be interests who
are utterly opposed to the anarchic freedom of the net, and who are
horribly threatened by the fact that the laws of mathematics make
it possible to encrypt messages, and somehow feel that outlawing the
laws of nature makes sense. they're idiots, and they're losers, and
they are doomed to failure.
declaring war on the net is the sure sign of a doomed moron. they
might as well declare war on glaciers, or declare war on pi.

too bad there _aren't_ any isolated individuals here, and we on
the net have grown to see that an attack on an individual is an
attack on _all_ of us. these stupid fuckers had damn well better
make sure that diane doesn't so much as STUB HER FUCKING TOE,
due to this marcus idiot, or else there will be hell to pay.

lest anyone assume this is mere rhetoric, a death-threat such as the
demented robert marcus has issued is indeed considered ASSAULT, is
indeed considered a credible threat, and is indeed an imprisonable
offense.
if we can get this fucker summarily tossed somewhere cold and hard, it
will send a very strong signal. the cult managed to get first blood
attacking erlich like it did, but the net will demand SECOND blood and
THIRD blood and FOURTH blood and the endlessness of these papercuts will
destroy this worthless cult by attrition.
reading this, helena ho'?
HEAR THIS, BITCH!
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED! we are not going ANYWHERE! the net is expanding
by thousands of nodes EVERY DAY! we'll be here and expanding long after
your worthless nut-cult has become a footnote in the history of frauds.
don't FUCK with us and MAYBE we'll let your cult feep along it's lame
way to its inevitable extinction instead of just squashing it like a
bug on the windshield of the turbo-charged maserati of the net.

that's for sure. frankly, the kid gloves have been on until now.
i think the net community is beginning to lose patience with this
incursion of violent lunatics who think death-threats are business
as usual.
not HERE, buddy. here your words take on a life of their own, and they're
gonna come back and blindside your lame asses.

l. ron is a rotting corpse.
$cientology is THROUGH, it just hasn't noticed it yet.
NO MORE!
