After reading the K/S Lady vr. OM conflict postings for the 5th day in a row
I thought about the entire conflict and...

Organians: "Since you cannot seem to end this conflict on your own, we have
           decided to end it for you.  All your Keyboards and Terminals
           now radiate a tempreture of 350 degrees.  Use your communication
           devices and UUCP to your ships."

      off a sudden everything was too hot to handle.  We are helpless."

Klingon: "My ships have been disabled too."

Kirk: "You can't do this.  It is wrong to interfere with an argument
       between two people on the USENET."

Klingon: "That's right, this doesn't concern you!  Let us do our own
         FLAMING!"

Orgainian: "But you are wrong.  Consider how many millions of people
           read rec.arts.startrek each day and have the hear about
           K/S lady.  Further mankind has the read the replies which
           come back as a reponse to the K/S controvery.  Do you
           honestly believe that anything will be changed by these
           flames?"

Kirk: "Well...no one likes arguing over the USENET.  But the Klingons
      are blood thirsty and ruthless.  They should be deprived of thier
      UUCP connections."

Kilingon: "NO!  We want peace - but you keep interfering with my friend
          the K/S lady."

Kirk: "But they erased 200 of your files from your hard disk.  They
      took control of your site and erase all your USENET news.  How
      can you side with them."

Organians: "Gentlemen - it is our belief that some day you will both
           be friends.  Perhaps in a couple of postings or so, but for
           now please DISCONNECT."

Other Orgainian: "Yes - please DISCONNECT your computers and take a week or
                  so and chill out."

Orgainian: "Besides -  no files have been erased here Kirk, we'll simply
           FTP them back from another site."

Klingon: "Kirk lets side together and jump these week minded fools.  We could
         take them easily"

(..and the orgainians start to change into their real forms: VAX Main Frames)

Kirk: "I guess the Orgainians arn't going to let us fill their Hard Disks
      with K/S controvery postings"

Klingon: "Too bad captain, it would have been glorious."

Spock: "Captain - the orgainians are as far above us as we are above the
       amobia".

Okay?  You can flame - but please send via mail - I hope that this has
given you something to laugh about :-), :-) -> I did this in the spirit
of good fun and I am NOT picking on anyone - I am neutral as far as your fight
goes.  but please keep in mind people like me that read this group on
a daily basis - we have usually 85 Posting to read (not inc. K/S comments)
and we have had a full calandar week of this conversation.  PLEASE go to
alt.flame or rec.arts.tv or some place else.  But ideally would be for "one
of you" to get a mail address so that there can be direct mailing.  Ever
thought of US Mail? :-)  At any rate - neither one of you is wrong, 
neither one of you is right - this is Star Trek we are talking about, you
can beleive anything you want - that's why we have this news group right?
