Our local weekly free entertainment paper has an item about "former
nuclear weapons researcher" Michael Lindemann of Los Angeles.
"I wasn't even thinking about UFOs before 1989," Lindemann says,
"until I started researching the earth penetrating warhead, a secret
nuclear weapon designed to detonate at a depth of 500 to 1000 feet
beneath the earth's surface." [weapon designed at Livermore to knock
out underground Soviet targets] "I was told to look into the alien
connection," he says, "the possibility that there is a UFO factor in
secret weapons policy. Now, four years later, I'm up to my neck in
UFOs." "I'm quite certain of some pretty bizarre things," says the
author of the 1991 study _UFOs and the Alien Presence_. "I'm quite
certain that the U.S. has recovered alien technology, and I'm quite
certain that aliens are on Earth right now."
