Kansas Board Votes To Bar Evolution From Classroom

Date: Tue, 07 Sep 1999 13:35:11 -0600
From: Cynthia Menzel <cmenzel@knea.org>
Organization: Kansas National Education Association
Subject: Re: Strengthening the Teaching Profession

KNEA interviews candidates and publishes their views on education issues to members. KNEA also encourages all members and those interested in education to vote and participates in "get the vote out" campaigns. Did you know that during the last election one candidate lost by less than 15 votes? We would sure hate to see that happen again.

Would you like to help get "educated, informed, thinking people" elected? You are welcome to join our efforts or tell us how we may support your efforts.

Thank you for your comments...hope to hear from you again.
