This item IMO throws light on the Sumerian claims that man was created and existed in Africa first, and then was brought to Eden. If Adam is the first man, then this may mean first MODERN man, Cro-magnon. Here is how; Adam (the man) was born (according to the Bible) 1,656 years BEFORE the Biblical deluge. Sumerians say the Anunnaki were on the earth 120 sars (120 Nibirian years) before the deluge. So 1 Nibirian year (Sar) = 3,600 earth years therefore 120 sars = 432,000 earth years (3,600 x 120) The first sapiens are thought to have appeared around 300,000 years ago. The Sumerians say (early) man appeared 40 sars AFTER the Anunnaki arrived on earth or IOWs 80 sars BEFORE the deluge. So man was created 144,000 years after the Anunnaki arrived. (40 sars = 3,600 x 40 = 144,000 (same as the 12 x 12,000 people of the 12 tribes to be taken in Revelation!) This is still 80 sars BEFORE the deluge (80 x 3,600 = 288,000 years) (Early) man's (sapien) appearance said to be 80 sars ago by the Anunnaki to the Sumerians (288,000 years ago) fits in to our scientific findings of 300,000. Sitchin estimates the deluge to have occurred 13,000 years ago (around 11,000 b.c.e.) We know the flood did not occur during the Sumerian's existance as they wrote about it in the post flood perspective and they have been here since 4000 b.c.e. The last ice age came to an abrupt halt 13,000 years ago and MAJOR transitions in human developement seems to occur roughly every 3,600 years (i.e farming/animal domestication/crop production/neolithic period then approx. 3,600 years later a fully blown civilization (Sumer) appears matching the appearance of Nibiru's said orbit in our vicinity). Now if we add the estimated 13,000 years from the deluge to today to the 288,000 from man's first appearance to the deluge (80 sar) we get 301,000 years ago man (sapiens) appeared. Scientific findings would concur. So how does Adam (the individual man) fit in? Well we are told he was born 1,656 years BEFORE the deluge. If we use MODERN math and add 1,656 years to the estimated 13,000 years ago then Adam was born 14,656 years ago, but wait sapiens and Cro-Magnon man would have already been around for at least 85,000 years BEFORE Adam (the individual) was born so how could he be the first "man" (modern man IMO) then? It doesn't coincide with scientific findings. Does that mean if man (homo sapiens sapiens) appear approx. 100,000 years ago the flood was 98,345+ years ago? If Adam was of the first sapiens group known appearing 300,000 years ago, would that mean the flood happened 298,345+ years ago? If we take Adam's biblical birth years to deluge figure of 1,656 and multiply it by the Sumerian sexigesimal system (base 60) because he also appears in the earlier Sumerian Genesis tale, the biblical math could possibly be using Sumerian numbers. Let's see. Adam's birth to date of deluge = 1,656 years (taken from patriarch list) x 60 Sumerian sexigesimal system ----- 99,360 years to which we add 13,000 years from deluge to today ------- 112,360 years ago from today Adam was born 112,360 years ago lies within the estimated 100,000+ for Cro-Magnon's first (sudden) appearances on earth.
