Ken, we've been trying to tell you for weeks now that the
Bible has changed many times over the centuries.  It evolved
little by little over hundreds of years before it was ever
compiled into one book called _The Bible_.  Then, after the
compilation, it kept changing, not the least change occurring
when Protestantism split off from Roman Catholicism in the
Middle Ages, thanks to Martin Luther (b. 1483, d. 1546), and
another man who split from Roman Catholicism because he wanted
to divorce his wife.  He was Henry the Eighth of Great Britain.
He was born 1491 and died in 1547.  Without those two renegades,
there would be no Protestantism, just as there was none for the
first 1500 years of Christianity.  An excellent and most readable
book on the subject, written by a Professor of History who has
devoted his entire life to studying the written record of Man's
existence, is _A World Lit Only by Fire_, by William Manchester.
I highly recommend it.  It tracks like a novel, but is pure
unadulterated fact.  Manchester is an excellent writer who
knows his subject well.
