To convert a FAT16 volume to FAT32, shut down WIN95 to DOS mode or
hit F8 at beginning of WIN95 boot and select command prompt only.
The program will run scandisk to check for errors first. If the
program can't find scandisk.exe on your system, it will not run.

The program syntax is:

CVT d: </[N]>

d: is the drive letter you wish to convert to FAT32.

/[N] sets the new cluster size in sectors.

The valid "N" values are as follows...

1 = 512 byte cluster size
2 =  1K  "      "      "
4 =  2K  "      "      "
8 =  4K  "      "      "
16 = 8K  "      "      "
32 = 16K "      "      "
64 = 32K "      "      "

note: cluster sizes below 4K are NOT recommended!!

example:  CVT C: /8   <-converts the C: drive to FAT32 with
4K (4096 bytes) cluster size.
