Science Directorate Adds Senior Scientist
As Senior Scientist, Dr. Bullock will coordinate the Science Advocacy Network, a program recently developed to encourage scientists to work with their congressional representatives. She will also oversee the Psych-Science Compendium, a database of psychological research achievements that can be used to illustrate the importance of basic research.
Previously, Dr. Bullock was Program Director for Human Cognition and Perception at the National Science Foundation. She was also Research Associate at the Max Planck Institute for Psychological Research in Munich for several years, where her projects included research on the development of self-monitoring and the development of scientific reasoning. Dr. Bullock received her PhD in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979.
