1995 APA Dissertation Research Awards Available

The Science Directorate announces its eighth annual competition for dissertation research funding. Up to 100 $500 awards will be made in 1995 to doctoral students in research psychology. This year only, there are two deadlines--the first of which has already passed. The next deadline is September 15. The awards are evenly distributed between the two deadlines, so up to 50 awards will be available for the September deadline.

In making awards, attention will be given to distribution across areas of scientific inquiry in psychology.

Beginning in 1996, there will again be only one deadline each year, at which time up to 100 awards will be granted. The deadline will be in September. Direct application requests and questions about the dissertation research awards to:
