Science Directorate Offers Electronic Services to Divisions
Is your division interested in setting up an e-mail discussion group? Are your
members looking for an efficient and free way to communicate with one another
about general division concerns or about a specific subject area? As part of the
Special Science Initiative funded by APA to promote scientific psychology, the
Science Directorate is providing interested APA divisions the resources to set
up e-mail discussion groups, also know as special interest groups (SIGs).
APA can set up an unlimited number of SIGS using Majordomo list server software
at the APA headquarters in Washington, DC. Divisions will just need to appoint
a member to maintain (from the member's home institution) the list once it has
been set up. This requires that the member has an e-mail address.
