Attention All Undergraduate Teachers of Psychology!

Those of you who work with, teach, or advise talented undergraduates, please pass this message on to them: APA is sponsoring a program that may be pivotal to your future career!

Thirty-two exceptional college freshmen and sophomores will be treated to an incredible opportunity next June--the 1997 APA Summer Science Institute--which will take place June 7-15 at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

The students selected will be invited--all expenses paid--to attend the Institute, at which distinguished faculty from around the country and from Hopkins will provide learning opportunities that will give the students an upper hand in preparing for graduate study in psychology. Daily features will include lectures, hands-on learning experiences, and tours.

Applications must be received in the Science Directorate no later than January 31, 1997.

Interested students should contact the APA Science Directorate for more information, including the application form. Send an e-mail message to science@apa.org or call (202) 336-6000 to request the Summer Science Institute information packet. The material is also available at the APA website in the Science Directorate section at http://www.apa.org/science/stu.html.
